KAREN JACKSON: If I was never introduced to the Church Of Christ, I don’t know where my life would be.
GUSTAVO CASILLAS: I used to not care as much. I used to just live a life of, I wouldn’t say fun, but I lived every day differently.

GUSTAVO: I would go have fun with friends, go drinking, go do these things that shouldn’t be done.
KAREN JACKSON: Growing up the way I grew up in a big family, I grew up around poverty.

KAREN: I grew up not really knowing much about life.

IVAN: Always arguments, always negativity. I felt really alone. There was no one to turn to for help.

JALENA ROLLINS: I was going through a rough time in my life and I had a lot of angst and some things happening to me that I just felt like, I couldn’t rely on anybody or anything.

GUSTAVO: I think it’s more mature and I understand more. It’s like, I understand that if trials come, you know, you’ve got somewhere to go. And I didn’t have that back in the day. I didn’t have the idea that if I have an issue I can turn to praying, I can turn to worship service, to God, and now I do. And I think that’s a huge difference for me.
JALENA: When I came to Church, I feel like I could rely on the people, and what’s being taught to me is what’s true.

IVAN SANCHEZ: The greatest impact that the Iglesia Ni Cristo has had in my life is that, I know now the true purpose of life. And it’s a very simple purpose. It sounds very simple. It is to serve God, the way that God wants to be served.

ZBIGNIEW SCHULTE-NOELLE: The impact that I could think of- change in my life would be that being part of the Church gives me a peace of mind, really. Because we all, all of us have to face troubles and difficulties in our lives. But now, being part of the Church, we’ve got our Almighty God who can call on for help and I guess, especially now this is so timely because of the pandemic that we’re amidst.

I consider myself as a kind person. I consider myself a loving person. I don’t think I would be this way, had I not found the Church.
