Richie Ferreira: The Church Of Christ continues to grow around the world with remarkable progress, especially across Africa, where more congregations are being added, one of the latest in Vrede. And we discover how a woman whose journey in finding the true faith led her to become an instrument and bringing the true Church to her community. Michael Robinson has the story.

Thabiso Khomoeasera: I’m very happy to experience the work that is done by our Almighty God here in this place of Vrede.

NEWLY ESTABLISHED GROUP WORSHIP SERVICE IN VREDE, SOUTH AFRICA

Michael Robinson: Another new chapter in the ongoing work of the true faith here in South Africa. Here in the city of Vrede. Nestled in the province of the Free State, now home to the newly established group worship service of the Church Of Christ. A milestone for members here in the Ecclesiastical District of Southern Africa. Through this inaugural worship service led by the Supervising Minister, Brother Rico del Rosario, he was reminded how all of this was possible.

Mmakatla Monatisa: We’ve been praying for this one for so long, and I’m feeling very, very blessed to be part of this historical occasion.

Dianne Lorido: I feel very honored to be able to witness this special occasion and the start of the Church in this part of the world. 

Selina Mashiloane: And thanks for our Father in heaven. Now the Church is here in Vrede. 

Michael Robinson: A work of God brought to life through Selena, a longtime resident of Vrede whose journey as a devoted caregiver revealed only in time how God was working through her leading the Church to her hometown.

Selina Mashiloane: It was the time when they visited London, my boss asked me if I could go with them. So I stayed with them and worked at the same care.

JOURNEY IN LEARNING THE TRUE FAITH

Selina Mashiloane: When I’m in London, I met my friend. She invited me to the Church in the Church that day it was an evangelical mission in the Church Of Christ, everything they read and everything they preach comes from the Bible.

Michael Robinson: Baptized in the Church Of Christ, later serving as a deaconess and even witnessing a new house of worship dedicated in North Shields, led by Brother Eduardo Manalo, the Executive Minister. She was inspired and returned home with a deep desire to bring the true faith to her hometown. 

Selina Mashiloane: To travel to Johannesburg, it’s very far and to travel to Qwa Qwa, also it’s very far for me. That’s why when I ask the Almighty Father that we can have the service here and all my family, we can get to be together. The blessing was there from God. And then I have a property here, the house, and then I had a place where the worship service can be held, and then I thank our Father in heaven that I have the place where the Church can be there.

GROWTH OF THE TRUE FAITH IN SOUTH AFRICA

Michael Robinson: From humble beginnings of the Church Of Christ throughout South Africa to its now grand stature with the same faith and devotion. Likewise, now are taking root in Vrede with more to look forward to.

Rethabile Jane Phateli: So happy to see more people here in Vrede, that there are more people who are joining the Church Of Christ. It inspires me to be more dedicated to my duty.

Brother Jackson Liwanag: With the help of our Lord God, one thing we all look forward to is to have a grand and beautiful house of worship here in Vrede.

Brother Rico Del Rosario: And we thank our Almighty God for all his kindness and goodness through the leadership of our beloved Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo of his earnest desire, bringing the work of salvation all over the world. We would continue to do so, even in the most remote and farthest corners of the world. We will fulfill the task that God has gifted upon us. 

Julia Kunnene: I am thankful to the Lord God for everything. The Church Of Christ has brought good things to Vrede. We will remain faithful to Him just as He continues to watch over us.
