Taylor Joy: Oh, hey! Oh, don’t mind me. I’m just getting ready to run through this week’s INC Giving recap filled with amazing INC Giving projects from across the globe.

Are you ready? Yeah, I think I’m ready. Let’s go!

Taylor Joy: Howdy, y’all. We’re kicking off this recap in the great state of Texas. These INC Giving volunteers in Corpus Christi helped out the Coastal Bend Food Bank by sorting through and organizing incoming donations.

Taylor Joy: Next up, Bonjour to our friends in Marseilles, France, who held a ‘Singing for The Elderly’ at the Residence Les Jardins de Beauvallon. I wonder who smiled more, the residents or the volunteers?

Taylor Joy: Such a simple but incredible way to bring joy to our elderly community. Bravo to these volunteers!

Taylor Joy: Cheerio to our blood donors who rolled up their sleeves and gave the gift of life at a blood donation drive held in Central London. Wonderful job!

Taylor Joy: We’re heading a little west now to Heathrow, where trash pickers and garbage bags were put to good use in a cleanup drive. Well done!

Taylor Joy: Showing care for the environment and keeping our communities clean. Almost 6,000 miles away from Heathrow, volunteers did their best to keep the area in and around the Macau Yacht Club park tidy as well. Good job everyone!

Taylor Joy: And “néih hóu” to all the volunteers. From Macau, we’re jetting over to the Philippines for a coastal cleanup. The Mendoza Beach in La Union received a little TLC or tender loving care, from these happy volunteers, who also had some fun writing their names in the sand.

Taylor Joy: About 275km south of La Union, we’re stopping in Bulacan for another cleanup drive. These volunteers used—you guessed it—their trusty walis tingtings (Filipino broom) to spruce up the streets in their community.

Taylor Joy: Not to be outdone, volunteers in Valenzuela, Metro Manila also brought out their brooms and dust pans to sweep away the debris and garbage littering their streets.

Taylor Joy: And wait. The walis tingting also got a workout in Lucena City at the cleanup drive volunteers had there.

Taylor Joy: Next up, we can see some volunteers helping to clean up the school grounds at the Bical Elementary School in Peñablanca, Cagayan, Philippines. It’s super important for students to have a clean and safe space to play, so thank you to these amazing volunteers.

Taylor Joy: Staying with our school clean ups, Pook Elementary School in Rizal, Laguna also got beautified and they also benefited from a school supply donation. Do you see all these books? I’m sure there were lots of smiling recipients of these generous contributions.

Taylor Joy: Our final two INC Giving projects shows how volunteers can greatly contribute to our environment through a fun activity. This one saw a multitude of volunteers coming out to help plant trees in Barangay San Vicente, Occidental Mindoro.

Taylor Joy: And this group of volunteers was ready for tree planting in Bagolatao, Minalabac Camarines Sur. According to onetreeplanted.org: “Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity.”

Taylor Joy: So Salamat, or dios mabalos [thank you in Bicol] to these volunteers for positively contributing to the future of our planet. And a big thank you, merci, and m goi to each and every one of our INC Giving volunteers for giving back to our communities, in this week’s recap,

Taylor Joy: *Sigh*

Taylor Joy: INC Giving, it’s always a fabulous exercise in sharing our faith through acts of kindness. Whatever your next INC Giving project is, whether it’s a big group or just by yourself. Don’t forget to share it with us. Remember to check out incgiving.org and check out the different ways to give back to your community.

Taylor Joy: Remember, whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it.

Bye everyone!
