Dearest Brother Eduardo,
How are you? I always pray that our Almighty God continues to bless you with good health, strength, and peace, and that He keeps you safe wherever you may be. My name is Eva-Marie Krause, from the local congregation of Hamburg, Germany in the Ecclesiastical District of Central Europe.
The duties I am holding are: TSV Local Lead, Local Kadiwa Vice President, District Kadiwa Arts and Culture Committee Chairperson Assistant, District Multimedia Production Director. It has been one of the greatest blessings in my life to have grown up in the Church Of Christ under your leadership. From the time I was a little girl in the Children’s Worship Service, I may not have understood yet how vast the Church truly is, but I always knew it was where I felt safe–surrounded by God’s love and the care for the brethren.
Over the years, I have seen the Church here in Hamburg grow. And over the years I have also seen firsthand the strength and importance of global media in the spreading of God’s words, much of which expanded under your leadership. I am deeply thankful for the many opportunities God has given me to serve, each one shaping my faith in ways I could never have imagined.
My time with Executive News from 2022 to 2023 opened doors to experiences that took me far beyond what I thought possible – even across the Philippines for the Eye ‘N See vlog, where I listened firsthand to the miracles God performed in the lives of the brethren. Listening to their testimonies of enduring calamities, facing great trials, yet holding firmly to their faith, filled me with gratitude and a deeper appreciation for how unfailing God’s power and mercy truly are. This reminded me that even when we are faced with sudden challenges or fear, holding firmly to our duty and our faith allows us to experience God’s protection and peace. It also connected to what you often remind us in your homilies: that when we remain steadfast in our worship and service, God will never abandon us. And it strengthened my commitment to carry out my duties with faith and confidence in God.
One experience I hold close to my heart was being blessed to perform as a Technical Support for Video in the Local Congregation of Templo Central. That duty made me realize how even the work done quietly behind the scenes contributes to the worship service, and it deepened my appreciation for every part of our offerings to God. I also remember a time when I was given the duty of researcher and scriptwriter, at a point when my faith felt weak. Through that responsibility, God reminded me that He still entrusted me with a role in His work, and in fulfilling it, I found my hope and strength renewed.
As I recall all of these great blessings to witness God’s hand at work all over the world, I think back and remember when the Local Congregation of Hamburg used to worship in a small rented hall and how special it was when our house of worship was finally dedicated in 2012. I have seen the world, and been allowed to help in so many ways in the years since then, but that day will always be unforgettable because it was the first time I met you. And after the worship service we were blessed to be able to sing for you that day, and I remember how nervous yet overjoyed we felt. These moments remain imprinted in my heart.
In moments of uncertainty, whether it be personal challenges, questions about my future, or the pressures of life in this world, your reminders from God’s words have always brought me peace. They remind me that no matter our nationality, background, or circumstances, God’s love embraces all His children. That truth has shaped my heart and given me the courage to keep serving with joy.
Thank you so much, beloved Brother Eduardo, for your tireless care, patience, and dedication to all of us. I pray that God will continue to give you the wisdom, strength, and protection you need as you lead the Church.
May He always surround you with His love and peace.
Sincerely,
Sister Eva-Marie Krause
