A chef is cooking red congealed liquid in a steel pot; text reads "Should blood be used as a cooking ingredient?"

Yes, eating blood is a sin according to the Bible. God commanded in Genesis 9:4 that humans should not eat “flesh with its life, that is, its blood.” This prohibition continues in the Christian era—Acts 21:25 explicitly commands believers to abstain from “any blood,” which is why the Iglesia Ni Cristo teaches members not to eat blood or foods containing blood like blood sausage, dinuguan, or undercooked meat.

Pastoral Visit in Pasay City

The Bible-based lesson in the worship service highlighted the great importance of the members of the Church remaining firm and strong in their faith, which will continue to please God.
