In this recap, join Elijah to see how INC Giving projects are being launched in different communities all around the world.

TRANSCRIPT

Elijah: Hi, everyone. I’m Elijah, and I’m here to give you a glimpse of all these cool INC Giving projects seen in different communities in the last couple of weeks.

Elijah: Check out this ‘kamote’ giveaway in Victorias City, Philippines. And if I remember correctly ‘kamote’ is a sweet potato and who doesn’t love sweet potatoes? Mm, sweet potato fries, I can really go for some right now.

Elijah: Next up, we’ve got INC Giving volunteers at Freedom Park in Cabanatuan City

who set up a clothing drive and also gave away some free porridge. How great is that? You can have something warm to eat while restocking your wardrobe needs at the same time. You know, they had me at ‘free porridge.’ I definitely would have stopped by.

Elijah: And then we got this coastal cleanup that happened in Del Razon. That beach looks pretty inviting. And if you look closely, you can see people in the water. I think keeping our coast and environment clean is pretty awesome if I say so myself.

Elijah: Meanwhile, across the globe in very different weather, Beatriz offered free rides to people in her community of Slave Lake, Alberta. Temperatures that day felt like -52 degrees Celsius or -61 degrees Fahrenheit. I’ve never been in temperatures that cold before.

Elijah: And also in Alberta, a family who tragically lost their home in a fire were helped with some food essentials. I can’t imagine what that family is going through, but I hope they’re able to feel that there’s still people who care. And I’m so glad that the INC Giving volunteers in their community were able to help and be there for them.

Elijah: Now, over in Japan, Marj, who offered ten free dresses to whoever was in need of dresses. It’s such a great idea to give clothing to people who might need them instead of them being wasted and ending up in a landfill.

Elijah: I’m telling you, some of these INC Giving posts make me so hungry.

Elijah: Free drinks and sweets were handed out to the people in the community of Bagbaguin in Valenzuela City. Ice cream and cupcakes would have for sure made my day.

Elijah: And finally, in San Jose City, INC Giving volunteers gave away free pandesal or a tasty bread roll. Actually, pandesal would really hit the spot right now.

Elijah: But hopefully this quick recap of all these incredible INC Giving projects has given you some new ideas and some inspiration to go out into your own communities to find a way to give back as well. And remember, whenever you possibly can do good to those who need it
