VO: A most blessed and momentous occasion filled with thanksgiving, as this newly renovated house of worship in Spokane, Washington was rededicated to God as part of a special worship service. Bringing members from across the ecclesiastical District of Washington State to take part in the significant event. This worship service was led by Brother Edward Maranan, Minister of the gospel, and sent by the Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo to inspire members here in Spokane.

Augusto Ramos: We are happy for the dedication of our house of worship.
Thanks to God and Brother Eduardo, we are so happy.
VO: And he recollects the growth and progress of the local that has led to this special day.
Augusto Ramos: I have been here since 1994, March 20 that time Brother Dante Quitalig, saying, Brother, you look there at Spokane, the brethren and request for worship service at Spokane.
VO: Augusto’s conviction and faith would only continue until a congregation was established in Spokane in 1995. Throughout the years, the congregation would only continue to grow from a rented space, they would purchase a formerly Protestant chapel owned by the Westview Congregational church in 2003 after renovations, it would be dedicated the following year through a special worship service. Two decades later, renovations would begin again, and members would unite in helping make the day of the dedication come to fruition.
Brother Brianvic Carungcong: The brethren, they work tirelessly. We’re all out there. We were painting the chapel. We were painting the main sanctuary.
Jasmin Gutierrez: It was also a lot of sacrifices to make.
Elvira Moll: We all help each other to make it happen.
VO: And today, the moment they were longing for finally arrived.
Elvira Moll: I mean, words can speak for everybody.
Jasmin Gutierrez: From the Holy Spirit, when I saw the sanctuary, I felt God that He gave us what we were asking for.
Camille Tayag: It’s a blessing that we will remember every day and throughout the performance and throughout our duty as a choir member.
Matthew Siro: The chapel is incredible. It’s fantastic. It’s gonna draw visitors.
VO: Even for other members, they traveled from the farthest parts of the district and were eager to be present today.
Brandon Emory: Almost five hours, oh, we’re going over the mountains. It was like it was raining very hard. The roads were flooded. Always very beautiful, like the way everything is. It was very nice.
Larry Calawagan: I feel so blessed. Actually, this is my first time attending the chapel dedication in my life.
Brother Ramil Regino: This was a very momentous occasion that we had here. The rededication of the house of worship here in Spokane, and we firmly believe that it is the will of our Father in heaven. And we know that God is seeking TRUE WORSHIPERS to worship Him. So we’re so thankful that our brethren here in this part of the world can worship God, which we know is truly pleasing in His sight.
VO: For members here in Spokane, they are grateful that it is here, in this house of worship where they can call to God in prayer.
Julio Gallegos: When you need hope, when you need your faith to be strengthened, and you can come here and pray, kneel down and just, just cry your eyes out. There are times I remember one time we actually called the minister, the head deacon, to open the main sanctuary for us just to pray. He never asked why, you know, but he opened it for us because that is our home, our place to talk to God and to pray to Him.
Yvone Rodrigues: We will show our activeness all the more in bringing guests, sharing our faith to others, to other people. So all the more we can please and glorify Almighty God.
Augusto Ramos: Encourage them. Make strong, active, for their faith. Nearer to God. That’s all they want.
Frendhel Fejeran: With this newly dedicated house of worship, Spokane now stands among the newest places of growth of the Church Of Christ, further proof of the church’s mission to reach more communities around the world.
