Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, Inc. returns to provide more resources to families in U.S-Mexico Border Town
WHAT: 400 care packages filled with school supplies, blue light blocking glasses, a blanket, and snacks will be offered at a drive-thru community outreach event of the Felix Y. Manalo (FYM) Foundation, Inc., the charitable institution of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC or Church Of Christ).
Students and families of Willow Elementary and Sunset Elementary, two schools selected by the San Ysidro School District that are in most need, are invited to receive their care package between 2-4 PM, Oct. 30 at Vista Del Mar Middle School.
These donations from the FYM Foundation follows the Aid To Humanity outreach event in 2019 that serviced more than 1,000 individuals in South San Diego County. It is part of a current worldwide Aid To Humanity effort benefiting hundreds of local organizations and community partners of the INC, like the San Ysidro School District, around the world just in October alone.
Members of the press are invited to attend the event, but are required to follow COVID-19 mask and social distancing guidelines as dictated by San Diego County.
