Giada has alopecia areata, an autoimmune skin disease resulting in the loss of hair. But she doesn’t let it stop her service to God.
Interviewer: Do you have a duty in the CWS?
Giada: I sing praises to God and I, like… [gestures as if holding a hymn book]
Interviewer: You’re a Choir member?
Giada: Yes, that’s what I meant.
Interviewer: Why is singing in the Choir important to you?
Giada: So you can sing praises to God and so that it can also make you happy.
Interviewer: Have you ever met Brother Eduardo in person?
Giada: No, I was only behind him in Corpus Christi once when I first got there. I never got to [gestures as if shaking hands with someone]
Interviewer: You never got to shake his hand?

Interviewer: When you heard that he sent a minister to visit you, how did you feel?
Giada: I felt very surprised. He made me feel nervous
Interviewer: What does that tell you about him?
Giada: I think he’s a very _________(?) person.

Giada: Yes. I like his preaching.
