Taylor Joy: Good morning. We are here at a local food bank in Temecula. I’m here with some INC Giving volunteers. Today, we’re going to be helping out with sorting out the donations that the food bank receives. It’s bright and early in the morning. I can’t think of a better way to start my day. So let’s go.

Taylor Joy: Well that was cool. We helped prepare the packages that are going to be given out to the families and some of the homeless in our community. So we just helped with making sure that the boxes were full of various types of foods.
Taylor Joy: Oh also, I learned at our food bank they receive a whole bunch of donations from throughout the week. And anything that happens to go bad or is close to going bad, that doesn’t go to waste either.
Taylor Joy: They save all of those for a farmer who comes by to bring all of those foods to their farm to feed the animals, which is perfectly fine for them. I didn’t realize that they really don’t let anything go to waste. Food waste is one problem in the world that, you know, I’ve always been bothered by. Makes me feel so great knowing that I can be part of the solution.
Taylor Joy: Thanks for joining me today. Here’s to one of many INC Giving projects for 2024.
Taylor Joy: And remember, whenever you possibly can do good to those who need it.
