You Are Cordially Invited to Ask Questions
I think about how the Church Administration is telling the members to fight for their faith. From the day I started attending Bible studies, until now, I have had to fight for my faith.
A brother who is a member of the Church worked for my parents. We would have debates about religion. And that’s how I was first introduced to the Church of Christ.

We were Jehovah’s Witnesses. You’re conditioned in the Jehovah’s Witnesses to believe that you are in the true religion. You don’t ask questions, and you never question your faith. They’re always studying to make sure or to reaffirm what they believe. But they don’t seek out other religions to compare.
“So he started preaching and
it was like a light bulb went on in my head.”
Everyone was so loving and so kind and they were so happy to meet me and greet me, they had heard so much about me. Then they introduced me to the minister. So he started preaching and it was like a light bulb went on in my head. He handed me the Bible, and he told me “From now on, when we read the scriptures, I want you to look it up and I want you to read it.”
“When you know what someone is telling you is the absolute truth,
that’s how I felt at that moment.”
And that was the biggest help for me in reaffirming what he was telling me was the truth. I had to see it, I had to look it up and I had read it myself. It was like this insatiable appetite; I could not get enough. And when you realize you have the truth, there is a peace that comes over you. You just can’t describe how you feel when you know that someone is telling you the absolute truth. And that’s how I felt at that moment.

From that day I never looked back, I never once doubted the decision that I made on that day to become a member of the Church of Christ.
