¿Qué es lo que te causa estrés?
Mayely Villanueva: Hay una presión de estar poniendo cosas que te estás divirtiendo, que sales a vacaciones, tienes buenas cosas.
Gus Casillas: Las presiones salir adelante; tratar de hacer lo que quieres en tu carrera, tratar de ganar dinero bien, vivir la vida a gusto y no tener preocuparte de problemas en este mundo.
Jacqueline Villar: Ahora ya a regresar a la universidad, estoy estudiando pedagogía y pues me tuve que adaptar otra vez con esto de los horarios, levantarme temprano, organizarme para hacer mis tareas.
Karina Wayta: Son muchas las situaciones que enfrentamos en estos tiempos que vemos también, cómo la gente sufre.
Narradora: Según la Organización Mundial de la Salud, el estrés se ha clasificado como la epidemia de salud del siglo 21. Cuando estamos en medio de esto, no es raro tratar de encontrar algo, cualquier cosa que nos anime.
Pablo Martín: Normalmente, casi todos los días, yo hablo con mis amigos, con los que más me llevo de ecole.
Mayely: A mi me gusta salir con mis amigos, ver películas, a comer, me encanta comer, y me gusta ver novelas coreanas.
Gus: Mi pasatiempo es el vóleibol y he jugado entonces por unos seis años ya.
Sara Arreola: Cuando yo vengo del trabajo, a mí me encanta leer. Me encanta leer historia, me encanta leer cosas de diversión. Me encanta mucho leer.
Narradora: Es fácil encontrar cosas que nos animen. De hecho, hay toda una industria dedicada a ofrecer un escape de la realidad. Pero, ¿y si hubiera algo que no simplemente te llevará de un día al otro?
Charles Louinel: Cuando yo fui en el Estudio Bíblico por la primera vez en la Iglesia De Cristo, me sentí que había una gran diferencia.
Charles: (en inglés) El ministro deja hablar la Biblia. Una vez que conocí a la Iglesia De Cristo, pude sentir automáticamente que esto era lo que estaba buscando, incluso el primer día.
Hector Mercado: Lo que yo presiento cuando yo estoy en servicios y estudios bíblicos, siento que la palabra Dios me toca mi corazón y me pongo muy emocional, pero me da mucha fuerza y me siento con más alegría.
Narradora: Quizás ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que entraste en un edificio de adoración. Quizás crees que no sabrías qué hacer dentro, pero considéralo: quizás adorar a Dios es exactamente lo que necesitas en este momento.
Karina: Yo espero y sé que no estoy sola, ¿no? y espero siempre que en cualquier circunstancia Dios esté conmigo ¿no? Es gracias a los servicios de adoración, a las actividades que realiza la Iglesia. Entonces por eso es que—eso continúa que mi siga viva, siga ardiendo, ¿no?
Evaristo Arreguin: Me ha cambiado mi forma de ver las cosas que suceden alrededor en nuestras vidas. Y siempre teniendo la fe positiva. Nos hace y nos facilita todos los problemas que encontramos en esta vida, en este mundo,
Damian Dominguez: Me ha dado más tranquilidad porque ahora los problemas se los presento a Dios a través de mis oraciones diarias y eso me hace sentir más sereno, más tranquilo, más confiado y ya no me estreso tanto como antes.
Mario Cabrera: Tengo una vida más plena, una vida más tranquila y sobre todo, una vida con más amor conociendo al verdadero Dios.
Jacqueline: Es importante mantenernos más cerca de
Dios porque bueno a mí me ha quitado el temor, el miedo por lo que voy a pasar en
este mundo en un futuro.
Gus: Antes que estaba en la Iglesia, mi felicidad vino de no más que juntar con mis amigos, de hacer cosas que te dan felicidad por un momento, por un día, por dos días. Y estaba buscando algo más yo. Ellos te guían que lo es importante. Las lecturas te guían, y siendo parte de la Iglesia me ayudaba así.
Mayely: Para mí, sobre todo, Dios viene primero en todo lo que voy a hacer. Y para mi eso es lo que me motiva porque Dios es el que me va a salvar y por esa razón yo debo—yo quiero estar aquí y estar haciendo lo que en los ojos de Dios se mire bien y que le guste.

What causes you stress?
Mayely Villanueva: There’s always pressure to be putting things [online] that you’re having fun, you’re on vacation, you have nice things.
Gus Casillas: The pressures to get ahead; to try to do what you want in your career, to try to earn money well, to live life the way you want and to not have to be worried by the problems in this world.
Jacqueline Villar: I’m returning to university, I’m studying teaching and I had to adapt once again with this schedule, getting up early, organize myself to do my homework.
Karina Wayta: There are many situations that we face in these times that we also see how people suffer.
Voiceover: According to the World Health Organization, stress has been classified as the health epidemic of the 21st century. When we’re stuck in the middle of it, it’s not uncommon to try to find something, anything to lift us up.
Pablo Martin: Normally, almost everyday, I talk with my friends, with those that help me the most at school.
Mayely: I like to go out with my friends, watch movies, to eat, I love to eat and I love to watch Korean dramas.
Gus: My hobby is volleyball, and I have played for about six years already.
Sara Arreola: When I come home from work, I love to read. I love to read history, I love to read fun things. I really love reading.
Narrator: It’s easy to find things to pick us up. In fact, there’s a whole industryoffering you an escape from reality. But what if there was something that didn’t just get you to the next day?
Charles Louinel: When I was in the Bible study for the first time in the Church Of Christ, I felt there was a great difference. The minister lets the Bible speak. Once I met the Church Of Christ, automatically I could feel this is what I was looking for, even the first day.
Hector Mercado: What I feel when I am in services and Bible studies, I feel that the word of God touches my heart and I get very emotional, but it gives me a lot of strength and I feel more joyful.
Narrator: Perhaps it’s been a long time since you entered a place of worship. Maybe you think you wouldn’t know what to do inside, but consider this: perhaps worshiping God is exactly what you need at this moment.
Karina: I wait and I know I’m not alone, right? and I always hope that in any circumstance God is with me, right? It’s thanks to the worship services, to the activities that the Church carries out. So that’s why – that keeps my faith alive, keeps it ardent, doesn’t it?
Evaristo Arreguin: It has changed my way of looking at the things that happen around us in our lives. And always having positive faith. It makes and eases all the problems we encounter in this life, in this world,
Damian Dominguez: It has given me more peace of mind because now I present problems to God through my daily prayers and that makes me feel more serene, calmer, more confident and I no longer stress as much as before.
Mario Cabrera:
I have a fuller life, a calmer life, and above all, a life with more love knowing the true God.
Jacqueline: It is important to stay closer to God because, well, the fear has been taken away from me, the fear of what I’m going to go through in this world in the future.
Gus: Before I was in the Church, my happiness came from nothing more than being with my friends, doing things that give you happiness for a moment, for a day, for two days. And I was looking for something else. They guide you to what’s important. The lessons guide you and being part of the Church helped me.
Mayely: For me, above everything, God comes first, and in all I am going to do. And for me that’s what motivates me because God is the reason I will be saved and for that reason I have to—I want to be here and to be doing what is pleasing in the eyes of God and what He likes.
