Led in Worship During the Covid-19 Pandemic
[On Screen graphic: As the world continues to face the COVID-19 pandemic, various civil authorities have set laws and guidelines to stop the spread of the virus.
In compliance to this, the Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, has decided that worship services would be temporarily conducted in the respective homes of each member— while others hold video conferencing worship services.
On April 12, 2020, the Executive Minister once again led Church Of Christ members in different parts of the world in a worship service to God through videoconferencing.]
Brother Miguel Peralta: Despite that we cannot go out of our houses because of quarantine, that we can’t go to the chapel anymore because we are taking precautionary measures to protect ourselves, we still have not forsaken the value, the importance of the worship service. This is an instruction, this is a commandment from our Lord God.
Sister Nadine Duenas: Especially since we were led by our Executive Minister, we feel loved by our Lord God because we were inspired again and strengthened through the words of God.
Sister Aileen Mae Fisher: I feel like today’s worship service is very spiritual and very special. And I feel like today’s lesson really helped remind all of us members that, even in these scary and hard times, we shouldn’t in doubt God and put our full trust in Him because God will always be with us.
Sister Genina M. Nobella: When Brother Eduardo V. Manalo preached about trusting our Lord God no matter what happens in our life, and to focus on praising Him and giving glory to Him, I felt so blessed and so inspired all the more.
Sister Aileen: I think a good example from today was Brother Felix Y. Manalo and Abraham because they never doubted God and God always helped them and blessed them and kept them safe through even the hardest of times.
Sister Melissa Ibanez: Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, our Executive Minister, I would like to say, thank you for your constant love and care that, despite the long distance, we feel that you love us very much and we are praying for you always— for you and your family.
Sister Aileen: I’d really like to thank him for always helping us and always strengthening our faith by giving us lessons that encourage us.
Sister Melissa: I promise to always fulfill my duties no matter what happens in the world. I will keep my faith and I will be steadfast.
Sister Nadine: Spanish My conviction is that despite everything that is happening in the world, I will always trust in our Lord God—and that’s what Brother Eduardo Manalo always teaches us. I will always trust in God. I will never doubt what the Lord God can do for us and I will always be a faithful and strong member of the Church Of Christ.
