Hermano Ezekiel Silva: Bienvenidos a El Mensaje, un programa presentado por la Iglesia De Cristo. Soy el Hermano Ezekiel Silva. Hoy tenemos un tema que nos enseñará acerca de la salvación y quiénes serán salvos en el Día del Juicio.
Es imperativo hablar sobre esto porque todas las personas deberían desear ir al reino de los cielos y salvarse del castigo en el Día del Juicio. Algunas personas pueden preguntar sobre la cantidad de personas que se salvarán, o si sólo unas pocas personas irán al cielo. La verdad es que esa pregunta también se le hizo a nuestro Señor Jesucristo cuando estuvo aquí en la tierra.
En muchos aspectos de la vida, las personas están influenciadas por lo que hace la mayoría. Van con la multitud, por así decirlo, aunque al final no se beneficien.
Sin embargo, cuando se trata de religión, ¿debería una persona seguir la corriente y unirse a cualquier iglesia a la que vayan sus amigos? ¿Deberían convertirse en miembros de cierta religión porque esa es la religión de sus compañeros de trabajo? Con la religión, seguir a la multitud o a la mayoría no siempre es bueno. Si uno fuera a seguir a la multitud y luego descubriera que es la verdadera iglesia, entonces, por supuesto, es una gran decisión. Sin embargo, si uno simplemente se estaba uniendo a una religión debido a la mayoría y no es la verdadera iglesia, lo llevará a uno a la destrucción.
Por lo tanto, queridos amigos, debemos tener mucho cuidado al elegir o unirnos a una religión. Debemos conocer por nosotros mismos y examinar de cerca sus enseñanzas y doctrinas. Debemos averiguar si todas sus enseñanzas están escritas en la Biblia.
¿Qué enseña la Biblia acerca de este tema? ¿Enseñan las Sagradas Escrituras acerca de cuántos se salvarán de la destrucción en el Día del Juicio? Obtendremos la respuesta en Lucas 13:24-25:
—¡Haz todo lo que puedas para entrar por la puerta estrecha!—contestó—, porque les digo que muchos tratarán de entrar y no podrán. Hermano Ezekiel: Esto es lo que enseñó el Salvador, nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Él dijo: “¡Haz todo lo que puedas para entrar por la puerta estrecha! Mucha gente tratará de entrar, pero no podrá…”
¿Qué más enseña el Señor Jesucristo acerca de entrar por la puerta estrecha? Esta vez en el libro de Mateo 7:13-14:
Hay dos caminos ante ti; usted puede tomar sólo un camino. Una puerta es estrecha. Y una puerta es ancha. Entra por la puerta estrecha. Porque la puerta ancha lleva a un camino ancho, y el camino ancho es espacioso; el camino ancho, amplio es fácil; y el camino ancho, amplio y fácil tiene mucha, mucha gente en él; pero el camino ancho, amplio, fácil, lleno de gente, conduce a la muerte. Ahora bien, esa puerta estrecha conduce a un camino angosto que a su vez conduce a la vida. Es difícil encontrar ese camino. No mucha gente lo encuentra.

Hermano Ezekiel: El Señor Jesucristo enseña acerca de dos caminos. Uno que es ancho y otro que es estrecho. Pero, ¿qué nos enseña Cristo acerca de los dos caminos? Él dijo: “Entra por la puerta estrecha”. ¿Por qué Jesús enseñó que debemos entrar por la puerta estrecha y no por la ancha? Porque, de acuerdo Él, aunque el camino ancho es espacioso y fácil y hay mucha gente en él, lleva a la muerte.
Sin embargo, ¿hacia dónde conduce el camino angosto? Cristo dijo que conduce a la vida. ¿Qué vida? Es la vida eterna en la Ciudad Santa y la salvación de la destrucción en el Día del Juicio.
Fíjense, queridos amigos, que incluso el Salvador enseñó acerca de muchas personas que van por el camino equivocado. ¿Por qué están en el camino ancho? Porque es fácil. Muchas personas prefieren el camino o la ruta fácil sin darse cuenta de que conduce a la muerte. ¿A qué muerte se refiere? La segunda muerte, en el lago de fuego. Ahora, ¿la Biblia da una ilustración en cuanto al número de aquellos que no serán salvos? Aquí en Apocalipsis 20:7-10:
Cuando los mil años se cumplan, Satanás será soltado de su prisión, y saldrá a engañar a las naciones que están en los cuatro extremos de la tierra, a Gog y a Magog, a fin de reunirlas para la batalla; el número de ellas es como la arena del mar. Y subieron sobre la anchura de la tierra, rodearon el campamento de los santos y la ciudad amada. Pero descendió fuego del cielo y los devoró. Hermano Ezekiel: El número de los que serán engañados por satanás o los que no serán salvos es “como la arena del mar.” Si uno puede imaginarse el número de los que no se salvarán, es realmente sorprendente e impactante. Una vez más, queridos amigos, debemos asegurarnos de que no seamos incluidos entre los muchos que serán castigados. Aquí se incluyen las personas que dicen creer en Cristo y lo aceptan como Señor y Salvador personal y para ellos eso es suficiente para ser salvos. Pero, ¿qué tiene que decir el Salvador al respecto? En Mateo 7:21-23:
No todo el que me dice: “Señor, Señor,” entrará en el reino de los cielos, sino el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos. Muchos me dirán en aquel día: “Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre, y en tu nombre echamos fuera demonios, y en tu nombre hicimos muchos milagros?” Y entonces les declararé: «Jamás os conocí; apartaos de mí, los que practicáis la iniquidad.”

Hermano Ezekiel: Estas personas aquí incluso llaman a Jesús como Señor, pero Cristo los reprendió. Él incluso dijo: “Jamás os conocí”. Lo importante es que las personas deben seguir la voluntad del Padre.
Para aquellos que sostienen el concepto de fe sola, deben escuchar al Señor Jesucristo. Lo importante no es solo reconocer a Cristo, sino ser reconocido por Cristo. Entonces, la pregunta importante es, ¿Hay personas que son reconocidas por Jesús? Sí, hay personas que son reconocidas por Cristo y está registrado en Juan 10:14:
Yo soy el Buen Pastor y conozco y reconozco a los Míos, y los Míos me conocen y me reconocen.

Hermano Ezekiel: Cristo dijo: “Los míos me conocen y me reconocen”. Pero no termina ahí, Jesús dice claramente: “Yo conozco y reconozco a los Míos”. Es muy importante tomar nota de esto, queridos amigos. Necesitamos seguir el mandato de Cristo para ser reconocidos por Él. Ahora, ¿cuál es uno de los mandamientos del Señor Jesucristo que debemos seguir y obedecer para ser reconocidos por Él? Vayamos a Juan 10:9:
Yo soy la puerta; cualquiera que entre dentro del rebaño por mí, será salvo.

Hermano Ezekiel: El mandato del Señor Jesucristo es simple y explícito. Necesitamos entrar al redil o rebaño a través de Él.
Si se entra en el redil o rebaño por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, recordemos, queridos amigos, serán reconocidos por Él. Entonces, ¿cuál es el rebaño o rebaño en el que todas las personas deben entrar? En Hechos 20:28:

Daniel Montoya: Todo fue contestado de manera increíble: de acuerdo de la Biblia.
Wanda: Cada vez él [el ministro] nos explicaba, lo leía de la Biblia y cualquier pregunta que teníamos nosotros envolvía la Biblia y nos señalaba dónde era y como era y la explicación era bien clara. Algo que nunca el sacerdote tomó tiempo para mí, para hacer.
David: Fue realmente las palabras de Dios. No fue plática. No fue opinión. Simplemente una enseñanza, una lección de la Biblia.
Denisse: El ministro, cuando yo tenía preguntas, él siempre me daba su respuesta y respaldaba su respuesta usando versos de la Biblia. Los ministros nunca van a darte solo su opinión, pero siempre te van a dirigir o recordarte que lo que está escrito en la Biblia.
Ricardo: Sencillamente te das cuenta de la verdad… directamente de la Biblia. Toda la verdad está en ella y tú te puedes percatar de ella si en realidad tienes las ganas de poder aprender, de conocer verdaderamente a nuestro Señor Dios.

Hermano Ezekiel: Bienvenidos de nuevo. Esperamos que a partir de estos breves testimonios vean que aquellos que entran o se unen a la Iglesia de Cristo están siguiendo una enseñanza y el único camino para alcanzar la salvación: el Salvador mismo, nuestro Señor Jesucristo, y eso es lo que queremos para ustedes también.
Entrar en la Iglesia es seguir el mandato del mismo Salvador. Pero, ¿es ésta también la voluntad del Padre que está en los cielos? En Efesios 1:9-10:
nos dio a conocer el misterio de su voluntad, según el beneplácito que se propuso en Él, 10 con miras a una buena administración en el cumplimiento de los tiempos, es decir, de reunir todas las cosas en Cristo, tanto las que están en los cielos, como las que están en la tierra.

Hermano Ezekiel: La voluntad del Padre es reunir todas las cosas en Cristo.
¿Cómo podemos estar todos reunidos en Cristo? ¿Cómo se puede cumplir eso? La explicación está escrita en Romanos 12:4-5:
Porque así como en un solo cuerpo tenemos muchos miembros, y no todos los miembros sirven para lo mismo, así también nosotros, aunque somos muchos, formamos un solo cuerpo en Cristo y estamos unidos unos a otros como miembros de un mismo cuerpo.

Hermano Ezekiel: Tenemos que ser una parte o un miembro del único cuerpo de Cristo. ¿A qué se refiere el cuerpo de Cristo? La respuesta está registrada en Colosenses 1:18:
“Además, Cristo es la cabeza de la iglesia, que es su cuerpo. …”

Hermano Ezekiel: Entonces, la voluntad del Padre es que seamos reunidos en Cristo o que nos convirtamos en miembros de la Iglesia De Cristo. Eso puede ser muy confuso para muchas personas ya que hay tantas religiones hoy en día. ¿Cuál es la iglesia que pertenece a nuestro Señor Jesucristo? ¿Cuál es el nombre de la iglesia encabezada por nuestro Señor Jesucristo? Queridos amigos, leeremos una vez más Hechos 20:28:
Por tanto, tengan cuidado de ustedes mismos, y de todo el rebaño sobre el cual los ha puesto el espíritu santo como supervisores para apacentar la Iglesia de Cristo, la cual Él compró con su sangre.

¿Pero es suficiente que uno se haga miembro de la Iglesia De Cristo? La respuesta está en Mateo 24:13:

Hermano Ezekiel: Tenemos que soportar cualquier cosa que experimentemos en esta vida, ya sean problemas, dificultades o pruebas en la vida. El Señor Jesucristo aseguró a los que siguieron su mandato que serán salvos.

Brother Ezekiel Silva: Welcome to El Mensaje, a program brought to you by the Church Of Christ. I am Brother Ezekiel Silva. Today, we have a topic that will teach us about salvation and who will be saved come the Day of Judgment. This is imperative to discuss because all people should want to go to the heavenly kingdom and be saved from punishment on Judgment Day.
Some people may ask about the number of people who are going to be saved, or if only a few people will go to heaven. The truth is, that question was also asked of our Lord Jesus Christ when He was here on earth.
In many aspects of life, people are influenced by what the majority is doing. They go with the crowd, so to speak, even if it won’t benefit them in the end.
However, when it comes to religion, should a person just go with the flow and join any church that their friends are going to? Should they become a member of a certain religion because that’s the religion of their co-workers? With religion, following the crowd or the majority is not always good. If one were to follow the crowd and then find out that it is the true church, then of course it’s a great decision. However, if one was just joining a religion because of the majority and it’s not the true church, it will lead one to destruction.
Therefore, dear friends, we must be very careful when choosing or joining a religion. We must know for ourselves and examine its teachings and doctrines closely . We should find out if all of its teachings are recorded in the Bible.
What does the Bible teach concerning this topic? Do the Holy Scriptures teach about how many or few will be saved from destruction on Judgment Day? We will get the answer in Luke 13:24-25:
Do all you can to go in by the narrow door! A lot of people will try to get in, but will not be able to. Once the owner of the house gets up and locks the door, you will be left standing outside. You will knock on the door and say, “Sir, open the door for us!”
But the owner will answer, ‘I don’t know a thing about you!”

Brother Ezekiel Silva: This is what the Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ taught. He said “Do all you can to go in by the narrow door! A lot of people will try to get in, but will not be able to…”
What else does the Lord Jesus Christ teach about going into the narrow door? This time in the book of Matthew 7:13-14:
There are two paths before you; you may take only one path. One doorway is narrow. And one door is wide. Go through the narrow door. For the wide door leads to a wide path, and the wide path is broad; the wide, broad path is easy; and the wide, broad, easy path has many, many people on it; but the wide, broad, easy, crowded path leads to death. Now then that narrow door leads to a narrow road that in turn leads to life. It is hard to find that road. Not many people manage it.

Brother Ezekiel Silva: The Lord Jesus Christ teaches about two paths. One that is wide and one that is narrow. But what does Christ teach us concerning the two paths? He said “Go through the narrow door.” Why did Jesus teach that we should go through the narrow door and not the wide one? Because, according to Him, although the wide path is broad and easy and many people are on it, it leads to death.
However, where does the narrow path lead to? Christ said it leads to life. Which life? It is the eternal life in the Holy City and salvation from destruction on Judgment Day.
Notice, dear friends, that even the Savior taught about many people going on the wrong path. Why are they on the wide path? Because it is easy. Many people prefer the easy path or route without realizing that it leads to death. Which death is being referred to? The second death, in the lake of fire. Now, does the Bible give an illustration as to the number of those who will not be saved? Here in Revelation 20:7-10:
Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Brother Ezekiel: The number of those deceived by Satan or those who will not be saved is “as the sand of the sea.” If one can imagine the number of those who will not be saved, it is indeed surprising and shocking. Once again, dear friends, we have to make sure that we are not included among the many who will be punished. Included here are the people who say they believe in Christ and accept Him as Lord and personal Savior and for them that is enough to be saved. But what does the Savior have to say about that? In Matthew 7:21-23:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Brother Ezekiel: These people here even call Jesus as Lord but Christ rebuked them. He even said, “I never knew you.” What is important is that people need to follow the will of the Father.
For those who uphold the faith-alone concept, they need to listen to Lord Jesus Christ. What is important is not only to recognize Christ, but to be recognized by Christ. So the important question is, who are the people recognized by Jesus? Yes, there are people who are recognized by Christ and it’s recorded in John 10:14:
“I am the Good Shepherd and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize Me.”

Brother Ezekiel: Christ said, “My own know and recognize Me.” But it doesn’t end there. Jesus clearly states, “I know and recognize My own.” Therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ clearly taught the importance of a mutual relationship or recognition. It is not one-way recognition but a two-way or mutual recognition. Who does Lord Jesus Christ recognize as His? Still in the book of John, we read earlier verse 14, this time in verse 4:
And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

Brother Ezekiel: The ones whom Christ knows and recognizes are those who listen to His voice or obey His commands. That’s very important to take note of, dear friends. We need to follow Christ’s command to be recognized by Him. Now, what is one of Lord Jesus Christ commands that we should follow and obey to be recognized by Him? Let’s go to John 10:9:
I am the door, anyone who comes into the fold through me will be safe.

Brother Ezekiel: The Lord Jesus Christ’s command is simple and explicit. We need to enter the fold or flock through Him. If one enters the fold or flock through Christ, let us remember, dear friends, they will be recognized by Him. So what is the fold or flock that all people should enter? In Acts 20:28:
Take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you overseers, to feed the church of Christ which he has purchased with his blood.

Brother Ezekiel: The fold or flock is the Church Of Christ.
And that is what the Church Of Christ is bringing to people around the world. It doesn’t come from popular influencers but only the words of God written in the Bible. Let’s watch some who have shared similar stories, looking for truth in their life and how their search led them to the right way of following God.

Daniel Montoya: Everything was answered in an incredible way: according to the Bible.
Wanda: Each time he [the minister] explained to us, he would read it from the Bible and any questions we had, he would involve the Bible and point out where it was and what it was like and the explanation was very clear. Something the priest never took time to do for me.
David: It really was the words of God. It wasn’t talk. It was not an opinion. Just a teaching, a lesson from the Bible.
Denisse: The minister, when I had questions, would always give me his answer and back it up using Bible verses. The ministers are never going to give you just their opinion, but they will always direct you or remind you of what’s written in the Bible.
Ricardo: You simply realize the truth, directly from the Bible. All the truth is in there and you can realize it if you really want to learn, to really know our Lord God

Brother Ezekiel: Welcome back. We hope from those short testimonials you will see that those entering the Church Of Christ are following one teaching and the one source to reach salvation: The Savior Himself, our Lord Jesus Christ, and that’s what we want for you as well.
We know entering the Church is following the command of the Savior Himself. But is this also the will of the Father in heaven? In Ephesians 1:9-10:

Brother Ezekiel: How can we all be gathered in Christ? How can that be fulfilled? The explanation is written in Romans 12:4-5:
For as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Brother Ezekiel: We have to be a part or a member of the one body of Christ.
What is the body of Christ being referred to? The answer is recorded in Colossians 1:18:
And He is the head of the body, the church…

Brother Ezekiel: The body is the church that belongs to Christ. So the will of the Father is to be gathered in Christ or to become a member of Christ’s church. That can be very confusing to many people since there are so many religions nowadays. Which is the church that belongs to Christ? What is the name of the church headed by Christ? Dear friends, we will read once again Acts 20:28:
Take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you overseers, to feed the church of Christ which he has purchased with his blood.

Brother Ezekiel: The name of the church headed by Christ is Church of Christ. But is it enough that one becomes a member of the Church Of Christ? The answer is in Matthew 24:13:
But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

We have to endure whatever we experience in this life be it the problems, hardships, or trials in life. Christ assured those who followed His command that they shall be saved. Dear viewers, those who follow Christ’s command to enter the true Church Of Christ have done the will of the Father in heaven and so will be saved. They are God’s chosen people who will be saved on the Day of Judgment.
