TRANSCRIPT

Dearest Brother in the Lord,

I am brother Izrael Zenar “IZ” Bautista, from the Local Congregation of Guildford, Ecclesiastical District of Britain South. I am currently a choir member and a Children’s Worship Service teacher in our congregation.

I still remember the day that I received and read a personal letter from your kind office, back in March of 2021 when I was still in Japan right after the satellite we built, Maya-2, was launched to space.

The letter reads “Natutuwa akong mabalitaang isa ka sa tatlong Filipino na nag-develop ng pangalawang nanosatellite ng Pilipinas, ang Maya-2 na matagumpay na nailunsad noong Pebrero 21, 2021. Taos puso kitang binabati”

Your letter served as a great inspiration for me to continue to strive in the career I’ve chosen as a satellite engineer. Through our project, our country was able to gather data from space and gain knowledge on building Philippines’ future satellites.

Thank you for inspiring me to also continue upholding my faith and duty at that time as Children’s Worship Service teacher, Finance officer, District KADIWA officer and Technical Video Streaming officer.

Today, I am one of the 16 engineers sent to the United Kingdom to be part of a national satellite project that would build and launch the Philippines’ next generation of satellite called Multispectral Land Assessments satellite or MULA satellite, slated to be launched in 2026.

MULA is a 167kg satellite capable of collecting images of the Philippines and other parts of the Earth for various applications such as agriculture, disaster response and coastal monitoring.

As the one entrusted to oversee our team, I look at your example of servant leadership; we see how you tirelessly work to bring us closer to our Lord God

We see your leadership in the activities being launched by the Church, we hear it in our worship services, You continue doing pastoral visitations to teach us God’s words to strengthen the faith of brethren

you always mention how we are very close to the end of our race so we must not give up our divine election but instead continue to hold-on tight and rely to our Lord God.

I cannot thank you enough for being our role model in our faith in leading us in pleasing our Lord God.  You put the welfare of the Church above yourself which is truly noble and inspiring.

The letter also you sent me back then also said, “Hangad ko ang iyong ibayo pang tagumpay sa iyong piniling karera upang patuloy pang makatulong sa mga kapakanan ng ating bansa. Sa ibabaw ng lahat ay dalangin ko sa Panginoon na mamalagi nawa ang Kaniyang pagtulong at patnubay sa iyo lalo na sa pagtupad mo ng iyong tungkulin hanggang kamtan ang pinakadakilang tagumpay, ang pagtatamo ng biyayang kalitasang laan Niya sa atin”.

Being personally addressed by a person you look up to brings so much joy, much more coming from the Executive Minister of the Church.

I can still remember the overflowing emotions I felt at that time upon reading your letter. That is why for me, one thing is certain, I will continue to uphold my election and membership inside the Church, whatever may happen.

Wherever I may be, I’ll always prioritize my membership inside the Church and continue upholding the duties entrusted upon me.

I would once again like to express my deepest gratitude to you for always uplifting our spirit and strengthening our faith.

Brethren here in United Kingdom are very much thankful for the Pastoral visitation during the commemoration of the 50th year of establishment of the Church in Europe.

That is why we always pray to our Lord God to protect and bless you and your household so you can continue to lead the entirety of the Church.

As an officer inside the Church, I promise that as much as I can, I’ll exert every effort to help the Church Administration strengthen the faith of the members of the Church.

I’ll ‘level-up’ my work to make sure that me and the brethren under my care, are steadfast in our faith and continue to please our Lord God whatever may happen.

Happy 15th year of successful and dynamic leadership. Thank you Brother Eduardo for being the main guardian of our faith.

We love you po.

With utmost thanks and humility,
Brorother Izrael Zenar Bautista
