True Care Shown by Brother Eduardo
WARWICK MOLLOY: Dear brother Eduardo, my name is, brother Warwick Bernard Molloy, 53 years of age, of the Local Congregation of Kingston City in the Ecclesiastical District of Victoria, Australia.
I am a district multimedia officer and my duty is INCRadio host for “Made in Australia.”
Hello everyone, I’m Brother Warwick from the Local Congregation of Kingston City.
an INCRadio satellite studio production. I was introduced to the Church in 2022 and became a Bible student late 2022. I was baptised July 28, 2023.
In Australia, the prominent churches are Anglican and Catholic. My father’s family had been raised Catholic and I recall him telling me, “the Catholic church harmed my mental health and I studied psychology to undo this harm.” He had rejected those Catholic teachings and so brought me up to be an atheist. The turning moment, going from non-believer to having belief in God, was in multiple stages.
I understood that God wants to be worshipped in a very specific way. This was significant because the books of the Bible were written over many centuries, by many different men, and this consistency could only be possible through the will of God, meaning that God was real.
Bible studies with INC were the next stage in my developing belief. The Bible studies and the worship services made clear that God was not only real, but expected us to worship Him in a very specific way, which assured me that worshiping God with INC will meet God’s expectations. Further, the Bible studies showed me that God’s words of wisdom were aligned, like it was its own kind of science or mathematics. As I continued to read the Bible, I saw more of this consistency in God’s words, in the Bible studies, and how well aligned INC was, to the true worship God expects.
Brother Eduardo, I am extremely grateful for the blessings we receive through your leadership. You have given me and the entire Church reminders in video streaming lessons, for example, to be wary of social media influencers and recent lessons we have received about only listening to the preaching of God’s messengers.
I think about this when I share my faith and explain how INC differs from the visible churches around us in Australia. It is a constant challenge to have one simple message I can share: “Why is the Iglesia Ni Cristo the Church that matters and the only one that will be saved?” Your reminders that we should not listen to influencers and the recent lessons that we should hear the preaching of Messengers gave me the answer. Clearly in the teaching, only in INC can you hear from a minister who is connected to the true Messenger commissioned by God, Brother Felix Y. Manalo. Significantly, this tells me that there is no other church where an Australian, or anyone, can receive God’s teachings unless taught by a minister connected to the true Messenger of God.
Life is getting harder every day, and in my case I recently lost my job due to company restructure. Work life has been difficult in the last four years, so the regular reminders you have given, Brother Eduardo, in video streaming worship services that these tests are normal, and that through prayer and obedience, we prove our loyalty.
This helped me be at ease and made me stronger in my career. Even now, I see the blessings in the time I have had to serve God through the Church, and the job opportunities I am now exploring, as I look for new work. It has been my experience that it is difficult for regular Australians to discover INC, and that young Australians are seeking the moral leadership that God’s words of wisdom can give.
My duty as a host in INC Radio gives me an opportunity to help Australian non-members learn about INC, where they can enjoy inspiring leadership and teachings about God’s words of wisdom and this is a true blessing for me.
The activities in the Church and our projects give us opportunities to serve God, helping us to be worthy of salvation. The recent appointment of Brother Angelo Manalo as Deputy Executive Minister, was very touching to see, because I feel we’ll be ready anytime for Christ’s return. That, and the opportunities you give us to serve God, help us be prepared for the Day of Judgement. These show us that you truly care for us.
Sincerely your brother in the Lord,
Warwick Molloy
