“The lessons were so profound, they were so intriguing. And everything made sense to me there and then.”
“In the Church Of Christ, it’s purely from the Bible, which I thought unbelievable. How can we not believe when it’s just words of God from the Bible?”
“So I took notes during the Bible studies and then after I went home, I will check my Bible to make sure what they are telling me is the truth. And it was the truth because all the verse that the minister read is also there.
“The fact that there is no three bodies in one, the fact there is only one God and not three different Gods or not two different Gods and that Christ is the Son of God, His form is man not God as in, as in the Father. So I was like ok so, and if that is the true state and if that’s how it’s different then why do I have to go and put it all together in the form of a cross? Because nowhere is it mentioned that there is a cross. And so I was like ok, so that to me was like a homerun. It was coming straight out of the Scriptures. It was the word of God telling me that, telling me what I should be doing and how I should be doing it.”
“It was the doctrines, as you progress, as you continue listening, you will be convinced little by little that this is the true religion.
“It was very peaceful. From walking up to the church, walking inside and sitting down, this was actually a true worship and praise and glory to God. To me that’s what church is supposed to be about. ”
“Once you make the move and transition into real faith and you feel it better, it feels better for you, it’s not a false narrative at all. It’s real, and you’ll feel it.”
“Just experience it, just to come out and see, to listen to the words, challenge yourself just to see how it is. Because making that initial step, you can already feel the blessings of God. Because then, when you heed the voice of God calling and you listen and you obey, that’s the first step to blessings flowing in your life.”
