Many agree that time is the most valuable commodity. But are you investing enough time in what can truly improve your life?
VOICEOVER: We’re busier today than we’ve ever been.
INTERVIEWEE: Right now I think a lot of people are kinda occupied with just trying to make ends meet. Pursuing their goals. Just getting by day to day.
SANTINO FILIPPELI: Everybody’s always so eager to work, make money, you know, acquire all the material things. Televisions, high-tech electronics.
REWA THOMPSON: It’s more competitive in the work force, so they’re concerned about holding on to their jobs.
INTERVIEWEE 2: I’ll say what drives people is I guess…survival. Nobody really wants to be at the bottom of the barrel.
INTERVIEWEE 3: So that’s why I really drive everyday to work and stay focused, positive, so I could take care of my family.
INTERVIEWEE 4: I think the idea of a perfect someday. So someday you’re gonna have your spouse, you’re gonna have kids, and you’re gonna be where you wanna be careerwise, and you’re gonna retire, and you’re gonna have the perfect apartment, and you’re just gonna keep on going. Always trying to get to the next thing that will contribute to that.
MICHAEL SOARES: While I had so much, I just wasn’t at ease. I really didn’t know what it was. I just wasn’t at ease.
VOICEOVER: Sound familiar? Knowing and feeling that something important is missing in your life? It happens. But how many people would actually treat this as an opportunity to change their lives? How many are willing to search for that missing piece? Are you?
SHERRY RICHARD: I started attending last night and it was so refreshing. My life changed immensely. It was like night and day.
MICHAEL SOARES: So I am like so so happy that I was able to for once in my life make the right decision. And follow the right way of doing something, which was signing up for those bible lessons.
GREG CHIRSAN: The Bible studies are so great. That’s what I would start with. Just come and listen to the Bible studies. The bible studies at our church are not like bible studies in other religions.
VOICEOVER: Walk in to any Bible classes in the Church Of Christ and listen to what is actually written in the Bible. No theories. No opinions. Just the pure words of God. Learn what the Bible teaches about who the true God is, the real nature of Christ, and what a person can gain by conducting the true worship of God. In fact, join us for our worship services, and see how making time for God can change your life.
SHERRY RICHARD: You come in and you got the world on you. Because you can’t get away from the world, but when you come to the activities, the worship service, and bible studies, you get refreshed and you get rejuvenated.
JEAN-MARC CHARTRAND: It’s worth every single second of it, yes. Where you get the food that your soul needs. You get the direction that your life needs to take.
VOICEOVER: It may seem like a lot of time. In fact, it might be the biggest investment you will ever make, but it’s an investment with immeasurable return.
JEAN-MARC CHARTRAND: I gained the reason why I’m living every single day of my life. The strength that I need to pull through.
REWA THOMPSON: I gained access to salvation. That’s the most important thing I’ve gained, and the ability to keep working hard toward that goal despite whatever’s happening in the world.
VOICEOVER: Finding the true God and the true church might be the last thing on your to do list. It may not even have crossed your mind. But cultivating a true relationship with God, this could be the one thing that’s missing in your life.
SANTINO FILIPPELI: You have everything to gain, you know, there’s nothing to lose except a little bit of your time. Imagine, what’s a little time, when you put on a scale, you’re time and everlasting life. I mean, there’s no comparison you know.
